Terms for booking direct.


Payment.
Please note that a deposit is required to secure the booking, which will normally be 25% of the total rental due. The balance is due for payment in 4 full weeks before the start of your stay. (Please make cheques payable to `SandGlass`). If your booking is for dates less than 4 weeks from your booking date, payment needs to be made in full. 


Cancellation.
In the event that you have to cancel the holiday for any reason any deposit paid will not normally be refundable. We will make every effort to rebook the Cottage, however, and if successful a refund will be made of any monies paid, less an administrative charge of £30 per booking. We strongly advise you to ensure you have holiday insurance which includes cancellation insurance.


Care of the Cottage.
Any serious damage or breakage will be charged to you at replacement cost. Please note that the Cottage is strictly no smoking and we are unable to accept any pets.


Arrival and departure.
The Cottage will be available for occupation from 4pm on the first day of your stay. To allow us to prepare the Cottage thoroughly for the next guests, we ask that you vacate by 10am on the day of departure.


Loss or damage
You are responsible for the insurance of your personal property, including your car and contents, whilst staying at the Cottage. Please make sure that you are adequately insured, expecially for valuables.


Security.
You will be sent keys to the Cottage. It is your responsibility to keep the Cottage safe and secure. During your stay we or our representatives will not enter the Cottage without your prior permission unless in an emergency, when a spare key will be used.
